Democracy in America is worth saving. Even with a legacy which includes slavery and genocide-- and other harms to peoples of color-- America is still a wonderful idea, place, reality…

We reject the idea that America is so broken and racist that all must be torn down and replaced with who knows what. The Six Nation Iroquois Confederation and The Great Law of Peace was integral to forming the US Constitution. Consensus building and compromise was important to them and it must be important to us. Great things happen when the three branches of government work properly and keep each other in check. Let’s not tear it all down. Let’s add to it, improve it, make it work.

You are invited to a scheduled in-person discussion of the book and film adaptation of the The Spook Who Sat By the Door by Sam Greenlee,
on September 26th at 6:30pm.
This will be followed by a viewing of the classic film version of the book.

This is the all-time classic book, that activist book turned into a movie. Spook inspired most of the young activist groups to organize and centralize against the racial injustices to Black people. As Greenlee said the best weapon we can have is “Black unity”.

Bishop George Dallas McKinney, Founding and Senior Pastor of St. Stephen’s Cathedral Church of God in Christ, invites everyone to come and celebrate 58 years of his pastoring on September 27, 2020, 10 am.  This celebration will be conducted in Mission Valley, at the Morris Cerullo Legacy International Center, 875 Hotel Circle S, San Diego, CA, 92108.  Due to COVID 19 regulations, which will be in full effect and adhered to, there is a 250 people admission limit.
