PlaygroundDigital Technologies is producing several audio/visual exhibits atthe National Museum of the United States Army that will open at FortBelvoir, Virginia in 2015. Iam the Research Producer on the project. I am looking for a Native American veteran who is a gourd dancer and a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom who would be interested in participating in one of the audio/visual exhibits,a short video documentary entitled, "Soldier's P.O.V."
“Soldier’sP.O.V.” documentary will feature on-camera interviews with veterans of OperationEnduring Freedom and OperationIraqi Freedom.This documentary will spotlight the creative outlets that soldiersand veterans engage in (such as poetry, photography and music) asthey integrate back into civilian society. We liked to interview this Native American veteran and have them talk about the gourd dancers and honoring veterans.
We are filming the interviews the week of January 6, 2014 in Venice, California. We will pay for the veterans transportation. TheUS Army has final approval of the people to be interviewed. We do need to know the following information before we can submit anyone.

The Army’s National Landmark, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, one of the country’s most prominent defense installations, will be home to thenew National Army Museum, which is scheduled to open its doors to thepublic in 2015.
Just30 minutes south of the National Mall in Washington, DC, and ten minutes from Mount Vernon, historic home of the nation’s first commander-in-chief, Fort Belvoir is the ideal site for the National Army Museum.
The Museum will be publicly accessible and is conveniently located at a major crossroads -- just two miles fromI-95 and Route 1.Thepreferred site for the Museum is on Fort Belvoir’s North Post,along the Fairfax County Parkway. The site plan will be finalized in 2008, following the feasibility and environmental impact studiescurrently underway. Themain building will be approximately 175,000 square feet. Outside this facility will be a park with a memorial garden and parade ground. Space is being planned to accommodate ceremonies, reenactments,lectures, and educational programs, and there will be ample room forparking. Additionally, space in the Museum will be available toveterans for conferences and reunions. Once open, the Museum will welcome an estimated one million visitors every year.
