The opening ceremonies begin at 8:00am when our guests arrive on a chartered bus from the Otay Mesa border provided by SAC.

We start with a few, brief words from the following notables at 8:30am:

Abbi Nunez will sing the Mexican National Anthem

9:30am THEN, a Red Carpet is rolled down the dock and our each child will be individually introduced.
They will be greeted by high fives from the volunteers on the dock to help them board the boat.

10:00am  Once aboard the 90ft vessel, the “Dolphin”, we will shove off to the theme song of the Pirates of the Caribbean setting the stage for a brilliant adventure as each child gets a chance to fish, dine, tour the boat, sing and dance.

After leaving the bait barge, a San Diego Harbor Sheriff's Boat will escort us out of the harbor displaying a water show with sirens blasting in honor of our young guests.

Volunteers will walk the decks serving appetizers and desserts before and after a delicious lunch.

Fishing Team Leaders will be assigned to all of our honored guests to care for their every need and to help them catch fish!

Upon returning to the harbor, all children aboard will be awarded a trophy by their Fishing Team Leader.

3:00pm The boat returns to dock by approximately 3:00pm.
Our guests from Mexico will then board a chartered bus and return to the Otay Mesa border.
